Was it worth getting up before dawn to watch the sun come up over Angkor Wat Temple?

100%. 

Watching the sun come up over the five prasats —  or towers —  representing Mount Meru, was absolutely worth the effort. 

Angkor Wat might not be the easiest place in the world to reach, but it's absolutely worth it.
