The Colored Houses of Balat, Turkey

Istanbul is famous for many things, but two stood out for me — the incredible architecture and the cats. 

And in the neighborhood of Balat, the two came together perfectly early one morning as I was out walking before the tourists arrived. And with this photo, it's almost like you were there with me.
