Sailing Into Lisbon, Portugal (40x60 cm / 16x24)
One of my favorite things about cruising is sailing into a new destination -- especially at sunrise.
That was the case when we arrived in Lisbon, Portugal.
First you sail past Belém Tower, then the Monument to the Discoveries, past the giant statue of Christ in the distance, under the 25 de Abril Bridge, and finally the Alfama comes into view as it rises up out of the sea.
And, yeah, it's as marvelous as it sounds.
