While London's pubs remain iconic, the sad truth is that they are slowly disappearing. 

Trying to combat declining interest, publicans are opening specialty pubs like the Sherlock Holmes filled with Holmesian memorabilia or Bloomsbury's,  where you have a pint and play darts in a festive, carnival-like atmosphere. 

Be sure to visit before they all close!
