Stormy Skies Over Ohrid
During our month in Ohrid, North Macedonia, we lived just a few blocks from Lake Ohrid.
This town of 40,000 is most famous for its churches — almost one for every day of the year! — and I took pictures of most of them.
But one afternoon, when I looked out the window and caught a glimpse of this amazing sky, I knew it was going to make a great photo.
So I threw on my shoes and sprinted down to the lake, past some locals who clearly thought I was a bit crazy.
But I think it was worth it!
