Osaka is famous for being Japan's kitchen. That's because its home to iconic dishes such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and more. 

But Osaka is also famous for the giant plastic figurines poised outside, trying to tempt you in to try their specialties. 

Which I think I loved almost as much as the food! Honestly, I never got tired of wandering around Dotonbori, marveling at their kitschiness.
