Life and Death in a Texas Field
We spent the first few months of COVID living with a friend in Georgetown, Texas, just outside Austin.
We were fortunate enough to have a large catch basin directly behind the house. When spring came, it filled with bluebonnets and other wildflowers, and I spent hours wandering through them and taking pictures, naturally.
One day, I came across this deer skull — an all-too-grim reminder of the dark time we were all going through.
